Our gold comes exclusively from ABC Refinery — Australia’s only independent refiner accredited by the LBMA, the Shanghai Gold Exchange and CME Group. Every gemstone arrives with chain-of-custody documentation, so you know where it came from and how it got here.
I source this way not because it’s marketable, but because I’ve stood in those mines and workshops.

From Rome to Byron Bay
I trained as a goldsmith in Rome through the Università degli Orefici, a guild with a 500-year lineage, then spent two decades inside the jewellery trade before starting Lucano. I make every piece myself, in the Northern Rivers, because I think your jewellery deserves the same rigour a central bank applies to its gold.
