Most bespoke jewellery is a leap of faith. Ours isn’t. You work directly with the goldsmith through every stage — diamond options, metal, proportions, CAD renders where useful — with a firm written quote and timeline before anything is made.

Whether it’s a refined tweak to an existing design or a fully one-off engagement ring, wedding band, eternity ring or pendant, every piece is handcrafted to order in 18k Australian gold from ABC Refinery, with IGI- or GIA-certified diamonds.

I trained as a goldsmith in Rome through the Università degli Orefici, then spent two decades inside the diamond and gemstone supply chain — including direct sourcing of Argyle pink diamonds from Rio Tinto and procurement leadership at one of Australia’s leading jewellery houses. When you commission a piece, you correspond with me directly. No middlemen, no design-by-committee.

How do I start a bespoke commission?

Send the enquiry form (or email hello@lucano.com.au) with what you want to commission, your budget, and any references. We respond within one business day.

How long does a bespoke piece take?

4 to 8 weeks for most commissions, depending on complexity and material sourcing. Heirloom redesigns can take longer. We give a firm timeline at quote stage.

Can I use my own diamonds or gold?

Yes. We regularly redesign heirloom pieces using existing diamonds, gemstones and family gold — re-set, re-melt, or integrate into new work. Each piece is assessed individually.

Are bespoke pieces certified?

Yes. Diamonds are IGI-certified (lab-grown) or GIA-certified (natural, 0.30ct+). Smaller accent diamonds are graded in-house to F VS. Gold is ABC Refinery, RJC Chain-of-Custody certified.

What is the warranty?

The same lifetime craftsmanship warranty as our catalogue: workmanship, polishing, prong inspection, rhodium re-plating on white gold, and diamond re-setting where settings have worn.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, with free shipping Australia-wide as standard. International shipping is available on request.
